This dashboard offers an interactive exploration of the different types of organisations (eg. Research Organisations, Private for Profit) involved in H2020 framework projects and how they fare in terms of the EC Contribution received, the number of projects funded under H2020 and the overall costs related to these projects. This information can be filtered by year, regions, countries ans weall as by the European Commission Contribution or the Total Cost of projects.
Users can answer questions such as:
- What type of organisations (i.e. research organisations, education establishments, private for
profit
etc.)
are mostly represented in H2020, how much EC Contribution they are receiving and what is the overalll
cost
of the projects
they
are involved in?
e.g. Higher or Secondary Education Establishments have received almost 40% of the EC Contribution within
H2020 framework, but the most numerous organisation type is Private for-Profit Entities, there are about
15000
organisations of this type, accounting for more than half of the total number.
- What is the profile of the organisation types by region or by country?
e.g. In Europe non-EU 50% of the EC Contribution goes to Higher or Secondary Education Establishments,
compared to 39% in EU28, and 66% in Middle East.
- What organisations are working on projects that boost an important overall cost (Total Cost) and EC
Contribution?
e.g. If we select All Years in order to see the overall amounts for H2020 we observe that the
organisations
corresponding to high overall costs of projects (Total Cost) are mostly Research Organisations and
Education
Establishments. Using the
Cut-off Sliders we can dive into the bubble cloud to discover what happens at a lower level of Total Cost
or
EC Contribution.
